Context

Traceability principles have been put forward as a means to remain competitive in a context where businesses must adapt to globalized markets and its rapid movements of goods and labour force. The need to follow the movement of goods has been intensified by recent contamination issues in the food-processing industry, reinforced regulation relating to exportation and sophistication of systems and wireless technology.

What is traceability?

Are development and acquisition efforts necessary?

To what degree one must conform to its principles?

What are the legislations for dealing with traceability?

Where does one find answers to technology questions?

What is the course of action to be taken to achieve development or acquisition efforts?

According to its mission, Montreal International Logistics Institute, in partnership with educational institutions, governmental bodies, creators and suppliers of traceability solutions, is committed to master advanced knowledge in traceability, to demonstrate and explain the handling of its concepts and to keep you informed!
